Boxerwood’s Third Annual Pumpkin Walk in The Fairy Forest

Choose a night, or come both nights, to enjoy fear-free fun in the Fairy Forest! The Pumpkin Walk will delight your family with fresh donuts, apple cider, live music, and a grand tour of the Fairy Forest by Jack O’Lantern light. $5 per family for members and $10 per family for non-members. All proceeds support Boxerwood’s educational programs.
BUT, we need your help to create a Fairy Forest full of Jack O’Lanterns.
Join the fun. Carve pumpkin(s) at home and drop them off at the kiosk before noon Thursday & Friday, October 25 & 26. Then, attend the Pumpkin Walk to see all the Jack O’Lanterns! From dense chestnut groves to freshly cleared farmland, come learn how the earliest frontiersmen made the mountains their home and how that settlement would change the mountains forever. Program will include a demonstration of some traditional tools used for cabin building. All are welcome to attend and learn but participation in demonstrations will be limited at the ranger’s discretion for safety purposes. For additional information, please call (540) 291-1330.
